Walk-in closet systems, custom shelving, drawer units, and wardrobe cabinetry built from solid wood to organize your space beautifully.
A custom closet turns wasted space into an organized system that makes getting ready easier every day. At Woodcraft Mill & Cabinet, we design and build closet cabinetry from premium materials in our West Jordan shop, giving you a system that looks and performs far beyond off-the-shelf alternatives.
You choose the layout, wood species, finish, and accessories. From a master walk-in with islands and jewelry drawers to a reach-in closet with maximized hanging and shelving, every component is built to your exact dimensions.
Our closet cabinetry features the same construction as our kitchen cabinetry.

Fine Craftsmanship
Custom drawer stacks with dovetail construction and soft-close slides for folded clothing, jewelry, watches, and accessories. Each drawer is sized to its purpose — shallow for jewelry and accessories, deep for sweaters and jeans.
We offer velvet-lined jewelry inserts, watch winders, and divided organizers that turn your drawers into a curated storage experience.

Luxury Centerpiece
Freestanding or built-in islands with countertop space, drawers, and glass-top displays for master closets. A closet island provides a central workspace for laying out outfits, storing accessories, and adding a furniture-quality centerpiece to your dressing room.
Our islands feature the same premium construction as our kitchen cabinetry — premium materials, dovetail drawers, and hand-selected finishes.

Dedicated Storage
Angled shoe shelves, boot racks, and dedicated compartments for bags, belts, and accessories. We design shoe storage that displays your collection while protecting it — with angled shelving for easy visibility and pull-out racks for boots.
Accessory storage includes pull-out belt and tie racks, bag cubbies, and hat shelving — each built to your collection and organized for daily use.

FAQs
Common questions about custom closet cabinetry, layouts, and the design process.
Most custom kitchen cabinet projects take 8–12 weeks from design approval to completed installation. The timeline depends on the scope of the project, material selections, and finish details. We provide a clear timeline during the quoting process so there are no surprises.
Yes, and we strongly recommend it. Integrated LED strip lighting inside hanging sections, behind shelves, and inside drawers makes it easy to see colors and find what you need, especially in closets without windows. We coordinate placement with your electrician during the design phase so wiring is concealed inside the cabinet structure before installation.
Most people overestimate how much hanging space they need. We usually find that 40 to 50 percent of a well-designed closet is hanging, with the rest split between drawers, shelving, and specialty storage. Double-hang sections for shirts and folded pants dramatically increase capacity. During your design consultation, we inventory your wardrobe so the layout reflects how you actually dress, not a generic formula.
Long-hang sections need at least 68 inches of vertical clearance for dresses and coats, while double-hang works well at 40 inches per tier. Shelf depth of 14 inches accommodates most folded clothing and shoe boxes without wasting space. Drawers work best at 22 to 24 inches deep so items don’t get lost in the back. We customize every dimension to your ceiling height and room layout.
